Isaac’s bed waste a hastily put-together combination of two single beds. When a double-matress become available, a new bed to take it was required. Two years ago I machine up the timber to make two single beds for each of boys. Due in part to the credit crunch, the timber needed to be used. The bed also required a proper paint job.

Friday, June 20th, 2008I fitted a veneered oak floor in Brigitte’s attic bedroom. It went rather well and I was very pleased with my work. My only criticism is that it took a day longer than I expected. This was due in part to fundamental changes in the job spec and the fact that I had to make two thresholds; I made these out of solid oak, they were nice.
