Isaac’s bed

Isaac’s bed waste a hastily put-together combination of two single beds.  When a double-matress become available, a new bed to take it was required.  Two years ago I machine up the timber to make two single beds for each of boys.  Due in part to the credit crunch, the timber needed to be used.  The bed also required a proper paint job.

Van workbench and shelvingMike wanted a van that served as a mobile office, bar and bedroom. The units were built to hold beans, booze and miles of cable.

Brigitte’s floor

I fitted a veneered oak floor in Brigitte’s attic bedroom.  It went rather well and I was very pleased with my work.  My only criticism is that it took a day longer than I expected.  This was due in part to fundamental changes in the job spec and the fact that I had to make two thresholds; I made these out of solid oak, they were nice.
