Sanri's shelves

The first item to come out of the new workshop in the back garden; Sanri shelves were a pleasure to make mainly because she was very specific about what she wanted. It just remains for me to deliver them and find out if they are what she was dreaming about.

Mike’s shelving unit

Friday, May 15th, 2009

This quick and easy shelving unit was built in a couple of days to accomodate Mike’s books and files.  The chrome tubing and rounded corners give a smooth art deco look in a contemporary setting.  I added a cork board so as to make use of the shelves in every possible way.

Mains cupboard

mains-cupboardThis cupboard took me fifteen years to build!  It is not in any way what I imagined it would be originally.  I like it nevertheless. I was pleased to be able to use left-over flooring to good effect.  I installed a battery-operated LED light inside as well as the mains switch and RCD, it contains the Internet router and IT communications paraphernalia.

It’s not finished!
